Plumbwell Heating - Aga and Rayburn Sales, Servicing and Installation

Servicing

Your cooking/heating appliance will need a routine service once every 12 months, unless otherwise stated in your appliances working manual (some appliances require a six-month service). This is done to check and ensure your appliance is working safely and efficiently while helping to prolong it's overall life.

If you are on a servicing arrangment with Plumbwell Heating then you will automatically receive a call up as to when your routine service is due, if you have had no contact with us before but want to organise a service for your cooking/heating appliance then it is best to call the office and arrange an appointment.

The servicing of an appliance will usually take between 1-2 hours for most models, although time can vary depending on make/model.

It is important to remember that you must have your cooking/heating appliance serviced by a qualified engineer, preferably with a background in Aga/Rayburn appliances. If your appliance is gas then it is law to have it checked by a 'Corgi' registered engineer, if it is oil fired then it is suggested to have it checked by an 'Oftec' registered engineer. Our engineers are Corgi, Oftec & Heatas registered.

The pricing of our servicing is dependant on the distance we have to travel to get to you initially, then there is a standard rate per hour that follows. To find out how much it will be to have your appliance serviced by us it is best to contact us.

Plumbwell Heating is main authorised servicing agent for Aga/Rayburn on gas, oil and solid fuel cookers in the south of England.

We are also the main authorised servicing agents for converted 'Don' and 'oil warm' appliances (on Aga/Rayburn models).
